The Future of the KC Streetcar

June 29, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

You know about the KC Streetcar. But, what do you know about the upcoming Summer Streetcar vote? What about possible future Streetcar expansion plans? Join us at the Green Dragon Room at Bier Station 7 – 8 p.m, Thursday, June 29, for a discussion on the KC Streetcar.

Grab a beer and chat with David Johnson, Chairman of the Kansas City Regional Transit Alliance, and a member of the Board of Directors of KC Streetcar.

We will be talking about the current extension being proposed to voters, answering questions like;
— What is a TDD and what areas are included?
— Who is qualified to vote in this election?
— How does the mail in ballot process work, and why is it done this way?
— If this proposal successfully passes, what will be the next steps for future extensions, and what could be the timeline?
— What is the economic impact for the existing line, and is the city predicting a similar impact for the new extension?
— What is the average cost per taxpayer?

Even if you are not within the boundaries of the current TDD, chances are you will be soon. Please bring your questions and join us to start the momentum for the future of transit in Kansas City.

Seating is limited, so arrive early to grab a spot.
